2025 Nuclear Engineering Degree Apprenticeship scheme

Applications are now being accepted for our Nuclear Engineering Degree Apprenticeship scheme, which will start in September 2025.
 
We are looking for A-level/B-TEC qualified (or equivalent) individuals to participate in the five-year programme, during which you’ll complete a BEng (Hons) Degree in Nuclear Engineering. Apprentices will be based in our Bootle office, while studying at Blackpool and The Fylde College.
 
As part of the apprenticeship, you’ll participate in a wide variety of tasks, which could include being part of an investigative team, researching to update engineering good practice and inspecting operations or maintenance. You’ll also participate in a set placement schedule with the different engineering and science specialisms within ONR.
