The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) cyber awareness e-learning module has been shortlisted at the acclaimed Learning Technology Awards 2022.
ONR was selected in the category of ‘Excellence in the design of learning content - public and non-profit sector’, with ten other candidates.
In line with ONR’s strategic theme of modernising the way we work and linking to our corporate security strategy, the unique design of the module involved using the concept of an escape room to guide the user through a simulated cyber-attack.
This new approach to compliance training led to hugely positive feedback for the ONR Academy team.
The Learning Technologies Awards are the most independent and sought-after awards in the industry, recognising the commitment, enthusiasm and passion for learning technologies across the world.
Finalists are selected by an independent judging panel of 60 experts organised by the Learning Network, with more than 450 entries received on this occasion.
Kay Collier, Head of ONR Academy, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for an award."
The winners will be announced at a gala evening on 16 November at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.
