The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is working with a new careers platform - VERCIDA - as part of its ongoing drive to build a culture of inclusion and excellence.
ONR is committed to broadening the reach of its advertised roles to a wider audience and working with VERCIDA will help build its brand as an inclusive employer.
VERCIDA stands for “Values, Equality, Respect, Culture, Inclusion, Diversity, Accessibility” and their team have built a careers site that only works with employers who are committed to these attributes.
Debbie Harrison-North, ONR’s Human Resources Head of People Services, said: “We are delighted to be working with VERCIDA. The site connects jobseekers with employers that prioritise diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
“It supports employers seeking to attract and retain diverse talent, while simultaneously giving jobseekers greater information about potential employers to help decide if employers are the right fit for them.
“Anyone who is looking for a job at ONR will now be able to fully research us as their potential employer to find out what equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives, programmes and benefits we offer.”
ONR’s job profile on the VERCIDA platform allows jobseekers to search for jobs using filters that show the work we are doing internally to promote diversity and inclusion, such as staff network groups, career support, returnship programmes, gender equality and identity.
This is alongside the traditional search fields such as location, geography, salary, and keywords. VERCIDA will give jobseekers all the information they need to make an informed decision about whether ONR is the right fit for them.
