In the summer of 2023, we commenced the development of our new website. A key milestone project in our commitment to being open and transparent with all our stakeholders, the aim was to create a site with a modern, accessible look and feel, that was able to simplify how visitors to the site find information.
New features
We have worked hard, with the support of volunteer testers from across all our stakeholder groups, to develop a website that is easy to access. With this comes new features and a layout that regular visitors to our site will not be familiar with.
New look menu
The website menu, situated at the top of the page, enables site visitors to have an overview of content in each section without having to navigate to the individual sections. In just a few clicks, pages that are within each section are visible and can be accessed, reducing the time spent looking for individual topics and pages.
Publications search and public register
Our new, advanced search function uses a range of categories and filters to help users find the information required. You can refine the results individually by using filters or through the pre-set pages which provide a collection of all relevant documents.
Sites and facilities we regulate
Information for each site and facility we regulate can now be found in one place, with links to inspection records, SSG/LLC reports and the latest site updates all drawn together on one page. You can also find sites through the interactive map.

Next steps
We are continuously looking for ways to enhance our online presence, if there is anything you spot that doesn’t look right please let us know by completing our website feedback form.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time to supporting the project over the past months and we look forward to sharing more information on the process in the coming weeks.
We hope you enjoy exploring the new site!
