Information requested

Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to know the following information:

  • Do you have a Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract in place for your external training needs?
  • If so, what is the start date and duration of the contract?
  • Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?
  • Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?
  • Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract?

 We aim to be as open as possible when answering requests for information. However to enable us to process your request we require further clarification. This will assist in determining whether we hold the information you requested in our records.

Please could you clarify what you mean by “external training needs” in your request?

For example, is your request regarding whether we have any MSP contracts with external suppliers to provide internal training to ONR employees? This includes subjects such as:

  • Crisis Management Training
  • Leadership Development
  • Provision of Non-Technical Training, inc Personal Effectiveness, Communication etc
  • Mediation and Investigation
  • Diversity and Inclusion Training
  • Media Training

This confirmation is needed to enable us to process your request in accordance with the FOIA, once we have received confirmation we will process accordingly as a new FOI request.
