Information requested
In your correspondence dated 13 April 2022 re FOI202202052 under unique ref 2022/24118, you advised that the ONR expected to have the final versions of the Justification of Site Suitability Report (JSSR) and the Site Data Summary Report (SDSR) from NNB GenCo as part of their nuclear site licence application for Sizewell C. During the Sizewell C (SZC) examination, the ONR advised that it expected to be in a position to make a decision on the SZC site licence by June 2022, so TASC assume that you have now received these. Accordingly, I should be pleased if you would supply me with a copy of both final documents, the JSSR and SDSR.
If you have still not received the final versions, can you please advise when you expect to receive them and supply the latest revised versions you may have received after the copies supplied on 13 April 2022.
Information released
We confirm that under Section 1 of the FOIA, we do not hold the information described in your request. We confirm that the JSSR and SDSR, version 3 dated 29 September 2021 and version 4 dated 28 September 2021, released in our previous response dated 13 April 2022 remain the latest versions we hold.
It is our understanding that NNB are in the process of updating the SDSR. However, there are no longer plans to update the JSSR with updates relating to the design intent as it will be superseded by future submissions, such as the Pre-Construction Safety Case Report (PCSR).
At this stage we are unable to confirm timescales for when we expect to receive the updated SDSR.
