Information requested

As part of the consultation process detailed in the ONR's Land Use Planning guidance ONR - Land use planning the ONR requests consultations from the Planning Inspectorate, Scottish Government and local planning authorities regarding various plans and planning applications.

Can the ONR provide evidence whereby the ONR considered whether the range of matters that can be re-opened by a Local Authority at the Reserved Matters Stage of a planning application, which are very limited, might result in the ONR's consultation requirements being overlooked, discounted or irrelevant. As a consequence, did the ONR consider if there exists alternative processes they could introduce which would mitigate against the probability of the Planning Inspectorate, Scottish Government or Local Planning Authority overlooking a consultation request?
