Under the Nuclear Installations Act 1965, nuclear reactors (and certain other types of nuclear installation) can only be installed and operated by an organisation that has been granted a “nuclear site licence” in respect of that site.
Please find attached a site plan of Torness power station which highlights the following:
- Land owned by EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Limited (EDF-NGL)
- The nuclear site licence boundary
- The existing security fence boundary
Please note that the attached site plan does not contain building references/numbers nor descriptions of building use on the licensed site.
