Purpose of Intervention
This Licence Compliance Inspection was carried out as one of a series of planned inspections for the Hunterston A (HNA) decommissioning site during 2019/20.
Interventions Carried Out by ONR
I carried out a Themed Licence Compliance inspection on HNA’s Licence Condition (LC) 22, 27, and 28 arrangements for control of modifications and their implementation. In addition, I held on-site meetings that included a quarterly meeting with the HNA Safety Representatives, and a meeting on HNA’s 2019 Contingency Exercise.

From the documentation sampled and the areas inspected, I found that HNA’s implementation of its LC 22, 27 and 28 arrangements for the control of modifications was adequate.
Conclusion of Intervention
I judged that HNA’s implementation of its LC22, 27 and 28 arrangements for the control of modifications was adequate in the areas inspected and that during this inspection I did not identify any significant regulatory concerns.
