Key Findings, Inspector's Opinions and Reasons for Judgements Made
I examined the arrangements made and implemented by Magnox Ltd at both Oldbury & Berkeley to establish whether they were compliant with LC28.
I undertook plant walk-downs of designated radiological and non – radiological areas of the site to inspect the implementation of arrangements at the workplace. No significant matters were identified at Oldbury and one matter raised at Berkeley and a regulatory issue raised accordingly and has since been resolved.
I provided feedback to the sites on the inspection findings at a close-out meeting with management representatives at each site.
Conclusion of Intervention
In my opinion, the licensee is complying with the requirements of LC 28 at both Berkeley & Oldbury.
