Key findings, inspector’s opinions and reasons for judgement made
The inspector reviewed a range of topics and identifies a number of examples of the dutyholder meeting relevant good practice in reducing risks to levels that are ALARP/SFAIRP, including local rules, radiation awareness training, and contingency plans. Attention was also paid to the management system operated by the company for establishing policies and allowing objectives flowing from those policies to be achieved in an efficient and effective manner.
Conclusion
I judged an overall inspection rating of ‘Green – no formal action’ was appropriate for this inspection. Unless there are circumstances which change the activity this company carries out, or an incident, I see no need to inspect them for another five years.
