Information requested

Please can you provide me with information concerning the maintenance of your corporate estate i.e. operational buildings, land and any other property (e.g. investment) and schools, if they are within your jurisdiction. Not any social housing/dwellings.

  1. What type of maintenance management model does your organisation use? E.g. Managed supply-chain, single hard-fm & soft-fm contractor, internal workforce, principal contractor etc.
  2. Can you provide a list of the approved contractors used?
  3. What are the total values of contracts granted?
  4. When do these contracts expire?
  5. What services are provided in each contract?
  6. What procurement method was used? E.g. Open ITT, Framework if so, which one?

We confirm that under s.1 of the FOIA, we hold some of the information relevant to your request.

Question 1

ONR is a minor tenant at our Bootle, Cheltenham, and London locations. Hard and soft facilities management (FM) services at our Bootle and London offices are provided by the building landlords. For our Cheltenham office, we utilise the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) FM contract and procure our FM services from Mitie.

Question 2

  • Bootle – The building owner has appointed Honeywell for hard FM services and CBRE for soft FM services;
  • London – Transport for London (TfL) provide hard and soft FM services on behalf of the building landlord; and,
  • Cheltenham – Mitie provides hard and soft FM services via the HSE FM contract with Mitie.

Question 3

We do not hold this information.

Question 4

  • Bootle – we do not hold this information;
  • Cheltenham – this contract will cease 1 September 2023; and,
  • London – ONR will vacate the premises before lease end in September 2024. As such, the FM service will cease on this date.

Question 5

Hard and soft services in accordance with the designated Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.

Question 6

We do not hold this information as the contracts are owned by the building owners and not ONR.
