Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
This company is a UKAS accredited rock lab, carrying out on-site compaction testing using two densimeters. At the moment their work with radiological sources is low. They are looking to move to electrical densimeters shortly, as their current sealed sources are mature, and electrical densimeters provide more accurate readings for the activities they are engaged in. They are rated greenĀ for the thematic areas inspected.
I believe this company to be low risk for transport activities, and unless circumstances change or there is an incident do not require a compliance inspection for five years.
