Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
The inspector identified through questioning of the duty holder, and enquiries of North Tyneside hospital that this duty holder only rarely carries class 7 excepted packages from acute hospitals within the Northumbria healthcare Trust to histology (circa once every eight weeks). The packages are UN 3373, with Class 7 tracer (Tc) hazard being incidental to the biological/chemical risk.
Conclusion
Based on the information provided, our discussions, and relevant paperwork I rate this company as Green. I do not believe they need an on-site compliance inspection, unless circumstances change or there is an event that creates the need for re-inspection.
